About Us
GoldenPalm Novels is a home for African serialized fiction, starting in Ghana because you have to start somewhere.
Why we exist
The stories we grew up on rarely found a home on the big web fiction platforms. Anansesem, the myths passed down at family gatherings, the quiet dramas of everyday life in Kumasi or Accra. Those platforms are full of stories, but very few of them sound like us. We wanted a place where a story about a market woman's secret, a warrior queen's rise, or a spider-god's trickery could sit alongside every genre readers already love: fantasy, romance, thriller, drama, without having to translate itself for anyone.
So GoldenPalm exists for two people at once. The writer who has a story to tell and wants a platform built with their culture in mind rather than as an afterthought, and the reader who wants to discover fiction that feels like it was written for them.
For readers
Everything on GoldenPalm is free to read. You can:
- Follow stories and webcomics and get notified when new chapters and episodes drop
- Save anything to your Library and pick up exactly where you left off
- Read the way you like: light, sepia, or dark reading themes, adjustable text size, and continuous scroll
- Leave comments and reviews, rate what you love, and follow your favorite authors

How the platform works
GoldenPalm is free to read and free to publish on. We don't run ads and we don't sell your data. Authors who want support link to their own tipping pages, and everything you give them goes straight to them.
Where we're headed
We're independent and still early, building this one chapter and one story at a time. The catalogue is growing from Ghana outward across the continent and the diaspora, and every writer who joins shapes what GoldenPalm becomes.
