Community Guidelines

GoldenPalm Novels works because writers and readers treat each other and the platform with respect. These guidelines exist to keep it that way — they're not a legal document, just a plain-language explanation of what's expected here.

Publish your own work. Only post stories, chapters, and cover art that you wrote or created yourself, or that you have clear permission to use. Copyright theft — someone else's writing or artwork posted as your own — will be removed, and repeat violations lead to account termination. If you believe your work has been stolen and reposted here, see our DMCA policy for how to report it.

Tag your content honestly. Every story should carry an accurate maturity rating and content warnings for things like violence, sexual content, or other sensitive material. This isn't about restricting what you write — it's about letting readers make informed choices before they start reading. Mislabeling content to dodge a rating, or to disguise mature content as something milder, isn't allowed.

Disclose AI involvement. If a story or a cover was generated or meaningfully assisted by AI, say so using the platform's disclosure tools. Readers deserve to know what they're getting; hiding it isn't a technicality, it's a trust issue.

Treat each other with respect. Harassment, hate speech, targeted abuse, and threats — toward other writers, readers, or moderators — aren't tolerated, in comments, reviews, or anywhere else on the platform.

Fan fiction is welcome, labeled honestly. If your story uses someone else's characters or world, mark it as Fan Fiction rather than Original. This keeps things transparent for readers and respects the source material's creators.

Reporting. If you see content that breaks these guidelines, use the report feature on the story, chapter, or comment in question. Our moderators review every report and take action — ranging from a warning to content removal to account suspension — based on severity and history. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal from the platform.
